In any season the town is a photographer’s dream. Renowned for its beautiful autumn colours hues of red, gold and orange on the hillsides and surrounds during April and May. Arrowtown is a popular spot for snow enthusiasts during winter. Four world class ski areas within 20 – 60 minutes’ drive away.
The town is also a year-round golfers paradise with three superb golf courses within 5 minutes.There is the local Arrowtown Golf Course, Millbrook Resort offering a 27 hole championship course and The Hills course, home to the NZ Open.
